Documented by American photographer Scott Brennan, this body of work tells the story of the rise of social movements and the processes of territory defense in rural and indigenous regions of Latin America. Brennan has been drawn to this population, in this part of the world, passionately photographing it since 2003.

Antonio Masi Watercolor Workshop

May 4-6, 2018, 10am-4pm

Join us for a three-day workshop taught by world-renown watercolor artist, Antonio Masi. This workshop will focus on how to approach watercolor from a contemporary point of view - powerful, emotional, and expressive. Antonio applies watercolor in a thick and juicy manner, giving his subjects a startling boldness. In this workshop you will learn unusual perspectives, attention to details, and create poetic moody works. He will also demonstrate each morning explaining the materials, his set-up, and how he applies color. Although he is known as the “Bridgemaster”, he will demonstrate landscapes, seascapes, and more. The aim is for each student to discover the unique qualities of watercolor and be inspired to find a personal style.

$400 per person. All levels and abilities welcome!
