OAS43 Applications now available

GALLERY NORTH, a not-for-profit organization, welcomes your application to the 43rd Annual Outdoor Art Show.  Founded in 1965 to exhibit the work of contemporary Long Island artists and craftspeople, Gallery North has become a landmark of artistic excellence and community involvement.  Each year the gallery sponsors nine exhibitions in all media, the Gallery North/Joseph Reboli Wet Paint Festival, workshops with leading artists for both children and adults, an ArTalk series, scholarships for high school and university level art students, and the award-winning annual Outdoor Art Show.  The Outdoor Art Show is staffed by community volunteers and Gallery personnel and helps to support the Gallery programs throughout the year. The annual Gallery North/Joseph Reboli Wet Paint Festival is a three day celebration and tribute to the late Joseph Reboli. Artists will spend Friday and Saturday painting in selected locations throughout the historic waterfront villages of Stony Brook and Setauket. Throughout each day, spectators will have the opportunity to observe the emerging art and talk to the artists as they capture the beauty of the area. Sunday will feature an exhibition and auction of work created the previous two days. Each year the event has been an enormous success!
