About
OUR MISSION
Gallery North is a not-for-profit gallery whose mission is to present work of exceptional contemporary artists and artisans, especially those from Long Island and nearby regions, and to stimulate interest in the arts through innovative exhibitions, community events, and educational programs. Established in 1965, Gallery North is a vibrant arts center located on Long Island’s North Shore in the Town of Brookhaven’s Old Setauket Historic District. Featuring a variety of exhibitions in a broad range of media, from painting, drawing and printmaking to ceramics, sculpture, glass and fiber, there is always something new to discover at Gallery North. Gallery North is generously supported by volunteers, friends and sponsors.
