Introduction to Watercolor – Series

Session I :  Essentials of Watercolor

Learn about watercolor materials

Learn basic techniques of working with watercolor

Utilize these basic techniques in a still life

Session II:   Apply basic these techniques in “Paint with the Instructor” Series.

Everyone will work on the same painting as the instructor.

This will enable the instructor to demonstrate the techniques from Session I in each aspect of a specifically planned landscape painting.  After each demonstration,  the students will immediately apply the technique, thus learning to apply what was taught earlier and clarifying their understanding of the technique.

Session III:  Students will work on their independent subjects with guidance from the instructor to deepen their understanding of the basics of watercolor according to their individual interests and needs.
